MIDI Tools

How do I switch effects in the eleven rack and the TC Electronic G-Major separately? I can control the fx and patches on the eleven rack but not the fx in the G major. I want if I push effect 1 = distortion, assign patch 1 on the G major. Any effect I stored on #1. Idem on #2, 3 etc... I can do that if I turn the fxloop on and of but that's dubble tapdancing.

Would be very useful for Mackie monitor to also have the MCU 2-digit lcd assignment mode display. Could be very useful when using 'value' display mode.

I am (again) proud user of the V-Amp 2, which has some quite nice FX.

Are there any further possibilities to tweak the fx via MSB/LSB NRPN?

I know, that you can tweak every little Yamaha XG library with the XG editor, so I thought, that if I knew, if the V-Amp FX comes from a Virtualizer Pro or so, I can address more parameters like reverb decay or damping or density.

Would it be possible to add the ability to highlight and adjust the bar's value with the arrow keys in the midi controller on MacOS like you can on Windows?

I use one of the bars on the controller page to record MIDI files for automating lyrics to songs by incrementing the value of that bar one value at a time. Those values call the slide number in ProPresenter.

When using "midimittr for USB" (http://www.s-r-n.de/midile/) MIDI Tools shows the following error on M1 Macbooks in the "Midi devices dialog box"

Error: Cannot get string property of MIDI device

MIDI LE USB is working fine in other tools like Ableton live. Is this a known issue? Any workarounds known?

Referencing Page 2 of VT-4_MIDI_Imple_eng02_W.pdf I have used MIDI Tools to create a config to deisable Monitor Mode. I also created another to change USB Mixing to 0:

Monitor mode: F0 41 01 00 00 00 51H 12 10 00 00 05 00

USB Mixing: F0 41 01 00 00 00 51H 12 10 00 00 07 00

The above were copied to the clipboard from the app.

However, playing each separately appears to have no effect.

Am I missing something?

allow different effects on each channel ( stripe ) on the mixer?

Currently you could only use one effect, and that one effect is applicable to all channels.

Has any one developed the ability to have diffent effects on each channel?

I'd like to use MIDI Tool to receive the feedback from Cubase to display the current state of my MCU controllers.

I've set up everything using Bomes MIDI Translator to intercept the MCU flux from Cubase to MIDI Tools but, for same reason, it does not show the current state.

I'm using MIDI Tools in Mojave and I've tried any available version (the RC1 and the older ones).

The display of my Behringer XTouch is pretty shitty, so it would be great using MIDI Tools as MCU Monitor. Is there any known issue with this?

I have some feature suggestions:

It would be awesome if:

· the buttons on the toolbar toogle show/hide the tools (now only shows, but doesn't close)

· shortcuts keys were added for toogle show/hide the tools

· were possible to use the pc's keyboard to play the piano (just like kontakt does, including the octaves)
