I find using a tablet to adjust faders on the XR12 is a bit hit and miss so I thought I'd get a motorised fader device to do the job, with the tablet mainly to be used for muting. To that end, I got a BCF2000. However, I'm having absolutely no joy with it.

Hi all, first post from me. I recently picked up a BCF2000 for free on a local FB group, and have been slowly figuring out what's wrong with it. There's quite a lot of corrosion on the back panel around the footswitch sockets, but it powers up and it appears to almost work - but some of the buttons don't appear to function.

Has anyone had any experience with these kind of BCF/BCR issues,? Were you able to solve them?

Hi, I've been trying unsuccessfully to add this custom output NRPN message

B0 63 05 B0 62 00 B0 06 00

to the one of the encoder group buttons.

I've been able  to add custom output to other buttons, and they work as expected.

However, the encoder group button doesn't appear to be sending the custom output message (I'm monitoring the BCR2000 output.)

I want the button to also perform its usual function of selecting an encoder group.

Is there something special about getting custom output to work from the group encoder buttons?

Long time no see, this is genmce from "back in the day", I'm trying to resurrect my BCR2000 for use!

I am working in Reaper with BCR2000 and CSI3 plugin.

I am wondering if I can stack two different commands on the same knob? 

I am looking to be able to turn on a plugin parameter like reverb on/off with either a cc or note

and adjust parameters of that reverb size or decay based on a different cc.

Can two commands be sent from same knob? I'm guess this would be a custom message, I've been away too long.

The Microwave II has a lot of parameters that are already linked to CC values.  Most of these are pretty self-explanatory and I haven't had an issue getting them to work right, but some of them are throwing me and I'm not sure how I should set things in BC Manager to get things to behave properly.  For instance, selecting the octave of one of the oscillators.  The manual says it's CC33, with a range of 0-8.  I tried putting in Control Change with Standard Output ch1, control 33, value 1 = 0 and value 2 = 8, mode = absolute.  When I turn the knob it basically just se

I just plugged my old BCR2000 into a MacBook Pro (Ventura 13.0.1) with Ableton Live (11).



Controls are working but seems like MIDI inputs and outputs not.



MIDI data (notes) from the sequencer (clip) are not sent. LED`s on BCR not flashing so I think there is something I am missing or it just not working on the latest macOS.



Think I set up everything correctly - in Live`s preferences, all BCR`s ports are set to "Track" and BCR is in "u3" mode.

Since I have two broken BCF2000 I just thought to make Midi interface from the MIDI/USB/EPROM/RAM Board of them. Its a compact size and the power from the USB port should easily support the whole electronics on it. I connected the USN +5V with the power lines on the connector to fader board and did some tests.

My BCF2000 has problems to power up the motors, So at the power on the faders do a quick short move and stops, then 1.10 starts to blink in the display (together with the first upper left button). I read somewhere that the power supply inside is week then. I tried a PC 5V power supply with a condesor 4700mF - all the same. So the faulty is somewhere on the board maybe.. Any Ideas?

Ive got my bcr2000 programmed via bc manager, to control effects parameters on my behringer xr12. The problem I’m having is that the encoders don’t adjust the parameters all the way from 0-100. Some go about 20% round, some about 60%.

The documentation for several of the parameters say the values go from 0.0 to 1.0 so maybe that’s the problem?

I’ve been stuck on this one for a while now. Have tried different ratios and min max values but no change and I’m not sure if it needs msb/lsb settings.

Any ideas?
