Can the sysex or CC info be extracted from the Program Changer?(To show me the sysex of it's action)

Also, can the the Program Changer be converted to a VST?

Device ID should allow you to select between identical devices.

I have read that it can be chaged with sysex but never seen an example.

Having two roland xv2020's makes this highly desirable....

Any ideas?

I looked in search but see no mention of MPC at all. I have a BCF2000, BCR2000 and BFC1010 which have been sitting idle for probably 15 years or more. Never could get my head around them at all with a computer. Recently bought an MPC Live2, which I want to use as the sequencer, main brain, centre piece (whatever you want to call it) of a 21st century one man band. Also have Alesis SR18, Korg Wavestate and Moog Subphaty. Combine all that with guitar and vocals and you get the general idea.  My aim is to build on current busking I do at local Farmers Market etc.

This may not be a perfect place to ask, but do you know any software that can program MIDI settings for Meloaudio MIDI Commander? That unit seems very versatile and good except that it does not allow users to specify CC value to be sent.

The request to have official solution for this is not addressed by the Meloaudio, and users are frustrated. The device is capable of sending or changing the value system-wise since they make official, customized modes that sends specific CC values, but not available for users to change the value in the device setting.

Hi there,

Found my way here via Roland Clan and bwalk.com.au. Love the MIDI Tools application by the way!

I'm writing a puredata script to try and change the parameters on my old BOSS ME5 effects unit. (The MIDI Tools app has come in very handy!)

I'm succesfully connecting to the unit, sending some sysex and getting changes in the sounds.

I can't quite follow the notes in the ME5 manual though. I think I've got the header part of it correct - F0 41 00 1F 12 ....

And I've setup the script to generate the correct checksum.
