I have tried everything to fix it
reset FCB1010 to factory
Fresh install of windows
New Midi Cables
Deleted duplicate driver is device manager.
Unintsalled pragramme and reinstalled
Nothing works. i have been at this for days. very lttle info online. the controller has work for a year with no issues. i have tweaked patches before with no issues. but now i get this consatnt error message. i hope one of you have had this issue and knows how to fix it

Sorry for the extremely late reply, but I've been insanely busy.
"Undefined external error" is an error that has nothing to do with FCB1010 Manager itself (so reinstalling it won't help).
The operating system's multi-media driver reports this error if there is something fundamentally wrong with MIDI communication. It usually indicates a hardware problem with the MIDI interface or a problem with its device driver.
(Some USB-to-MIDI devices are simply unable to transmit the long FCB1010 System Exclusive message (see FCB1010-compatible MIDI interfaces), but I doubt whether those devices would cause "Undefined external error".)
