Just a quick question: when I hover over the FCBMan.stp file or display its properties, it says the file type is Soundtracker Pro II - what is this file for? Many thanks in advance for your prompt reply and best regards!
By the way: I use FCBManager to control various lighting scenes with FCB1010 via Daslight 5 - is there a forum for this too?
FCBMan.stp is FCB1010…
FCBMan.stp is FCB1010 Manager's setup file. (It's actually a simple text file that you can view with any text editor.)
For further details, see the FCB1010 Manager Manual, section 6, under "FCB1010 Manager (macOS)/File (Windows) -> Setup".
The fact that the stp extension collides with Soundtracker Pro is nothing to worry about. On your system Soundtracker must have registered itself as the default application for the "stp" extension, so that's why FCBMan.stp is listed as a Soundtracker Pro file.
I don't know anything about Daslight 5 (or indeed any lighting software), so I have no idea whether there's a forum for it.
