send to the bcr's display

hi

is it possible to send some text to the bcr's display with sysex ? (selected track's name or something like that)

I'm searching in the BC MIDI Implementation.pdf, but I don't find. I don't know the sysex language, but if it's possible, I want to try it

and thanks for the bc manager

No, as far as I know it isn't possible to send text to the BCF/BCR's display via SysEx.
Of course the BCF and BCR do have an internal routine for writing characters to the display, but you can't trigger this routine from the outside - only a rewrite of the firmware could make that possible.

for remote control the button's leds: is there a way to desactivate the control that a button have on its own led?

(and maybe for encoder too)

but I suppose that's a firmware trick too?

As far as I know you can't prevent a button from switching on/off its own LED. So yes, I think that would require rewriting the firmware too.
But why would you want to deactivate the button LEDs anyway?

However, the situation is different for encoders: you can prevent an encoder from controlling its LEDs, namely by a .mode off statement in BCL (see section 17.2 in BC MIDI Implementation.pdf). In BC Manager you can set this by choosing "Off" in the "LEDs" drop-down box on the General tab of the enoder dialog box.

ok but that is not to desactivate the LEDs,

but to desactivate the control of the LEDs,

that  buttons  or encoders have on their own LED.

because I send midimessage  to the bcr, to remote control the leds, that gives sometimes 2 differents informations to the LEDs

but that's too difficult for my english to go deeper in that problem, that's not so important
