just tried to set up my 1010 using the latest version for windows 10. the fix an increment functions dont seem to work. nothing happens when i try to apply them. please help :) thanks in advance!
Any changes made by Fix or Increment are only visible when the affected elements are enabled.
The manual of the next version of FCB1010 Manager will mention this, and also the answer to this question about the difference between Fix and Increment.
Of course all this info should have been in the manual from the start, but I just have so much to do
Thanks for the reply and thanks for being awesome! Only useful app for the fcb1010.. the fix and increment functions really make a huge difference.
I have found an issue with the cc's. don't know if it's a bug or just the fcb1010: when i use cc messages and map them in ableton live, i have to press twice. kinda hard to explain but i'll try: when i'm tapping 1 on and off it works perfectly. as soon as i tap another button i have to tap twice to get the cc message sent to ableton. once selected it works with one tap, but changing to another value/parameter/button won't work with a single tap...
and just one last question: is it possible to change the character of the buttons.. like momentary/toggle? and allowing multiple lights on the fcb to be turned on. like activating a bunch of presets, i dont remember which i activated cause theres only one red led..
thanks again, really appreciate the work

I don't immediately see how this behavior could occur.
Of course there are two sides to this: what the FCB1010 sends, and how Live reacts; the cause could be on either side. (In theory it could even be in the middle, e.g. your MIDI-to-USB device.)
The following quote from the FCB1010 Manager manual (section 6 (p. 21 in the current 2.2.1 version)) might be relevant:
The following rules govern the background colors of CNT 1, CNT 2 and NOTE:
Normally the background of CNT 1 is light pink and that of CNT 2 medium pink.
However, when CNT 1 and CNT 2 are both enabled on the same MIDI channel and have the same controller number, both backgrounds are dark pink. This indicates that the "controller toggle function" is active: pressing the pedal repeatedly toggles between the values defined in CNT 1 and CNT 2. (See section 2.5 of the FCB1010 User's Manual.)
If the FCB1010's firmware (as set in the FCB1010 options dialog box) is version 2.5 and Direct Select (as set in the Global Configuration window) is disabled, the backgrounds of CNT 1 and NOTE are bright green when NOTE is enabled but CNT 1 is disabled. This indicates that the "tap-tempo function" is active. (See section 2.6 of the FCB1010 User's Manual.)
So if both CNT1 and CNT2 are active, CNT2 is only sent on the "even" pedal presses. i.e. the second, fourth, sixth time etc. So if Live doesn't do anything with the value of CNT1 (as sent on the "odd" pedal presses), that could explain (part of) the behavior you're describing.
However, you say that the problem only happens the first time (so not the third time etc.), so that seems to rule out this explanation.
(On the second part of the quote: I can't immediately see how the tap-tempo function could be responsible for your problem, but who knows.)
You might want to test what FCB1010 Manager's "Soft FCB1010" outputs in certain CNT1/CNT2 setups. The advantage of this is that you don't need your real FCB1010 for this test, so you don't need to go through the horrible setup upload procedure all the time.
All you need to do is loop back a MIDI output device on the computer to a MIDI input device on the computer. You can do this by connecting a MIDI cable between the MIDI output and input sockets of your MIDI-to-USB device, or via a virtual MIDI device (e.g. loopMIDI on Windows). (In my opinion, the latter method is preferable, once you know how to do it.)
Then you can capture the Soft FCB1010's output in FCB1010 Manager's "MIDI input messages" window. (Don't forget to press "Record".)
Try different setups for CNT1 and/or CNT2 and see what messages are output when you press the pedals on the Soft FCB1010.
In fact, you might even capture the Soft FCB1010's output in Live, and see how it reacts. This might help you to establish whether the problem lies with your FCB1010 or with Live.
Once the Soft FCB1010 works with Live, you can upload the setup to your real FCB1010, verify that it produces the same output as the Soft FCB1010, and finally hook it up with Live.

Well, you can configure SWITCH 1 and SWITCH 2 to work in momentary fashion.
But as far as the LEDs and the MIDI output of the pedals are concerned, the answer is no.
This is probably the biggest drawback of the standard firmware of the FCB1010. IIRC Ossandust's UnO ROM chip can do this.
