Judging by the bio on your own site, I think you're probably the Royce Craven who, together with Bryan Patterson, composed and/or produced the music for the Jocelyn Moorhouse drama "C/o The Bartons" for the ABC and Revcom in 1988.
So.... are you? :)
If so: I'm currently in the planning stage for building an online resource for fans of that show (a "fanpage", if you will) after expanding the wikipedia article on it as far as wikipedia's policies allow. The site won't be online for quite some time as I'm still in the process of gathering resources and permissions, and tracking down cast and crew for backgrounds and quotes (hence this post). Aquiring permissions is proving difficult as Revcom has gone defunct and the ABC has apparently forgotten it existed.
The show itself deserves some love and attention as it's often forgotten or simply ignored. I've made it my personal mission to make that happen.
Since the music on the show is excellent (IMHO), its makers deserve a place on the site as well. Would you be interested in answering a few short questions on your music (specifically for the show in this case) and what you've been up to after that (in a "Where are they now?" section)?
The interview would be done via e-mail (mainly because of the timezone difference and so I can read it back while composing the text) and if you'd like, I'll run what I'd use by you first (before actually publishing it eventually).
I would love to hear from you! And if you're still in contact with Bryan, please extend the invitation to him as well.
Thanks and stay healthy,
Erwin Leerentveld (Netherlands)
Hi Erwin. What a blast from the past. I contacted Bryan and he replied that he was going to start packing for a European tour on the strength of your announcemen 8 )
I have set up an email address at 'bartons' at my website. (I hope that is cryptic enough to stop the spammer bots). I'll try to help you as much as I can.
All the best
That's wonderful! Thank you so much for taking part!
I'll make sure the questions I have for you both are in your mailbox by the end of this week.
I've sent out the mail last wednesday (the 16th) to bartons @ your website. Did you get it alright?
This isn't to rush you, as there's really no rush, just checking if it came through.
