Hi,
is there anyone who use BCF2000 (or other) controller with Cinesample (or any) samle Library for Midi CC's?
I saw many Cinesamples walkthrough videos use midi controller for Expression, dynamic...
I'd like to use same, but I didn't find any information from that.
I found a video, but I don't know Isn't there a quick, easier way that would do just about anything?
Thanks.

A sample library always needs
A sample library always needs some software (computer program) to play the samples.
For instance there are Cinesamples libraries that come with an "instrument" definition for the Kontakt sampler.
The Kontakt sampler can be used either stand-alone or as a plugin (VSTi) in a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) such as SONAR.
In the latter case, a MIDI controller like the BCF2000 only sends MIDI messages to the DAW. The DAW (SONAR) passes these messages to the VSTi (Kontakt), which acts on these message in accordance with the instrument definition of the sample library.
Which MIDI messages the BCF2000 needs to send, depends on the capabilities and requirements of the DAW, the VSTi and the instrument definition of the sample library. For instance, I have a Cinesamples Kontakt instrument in SONAR that my BCR2000 controls via NRPN messages (so not CC).
So it's impossible to give general advice: things are different for different combinations of DAWs, VSTi's and sample libraries.
However, I've written a document describing the various ways in which the BCF2000 and BCR2000 can communicate with VSTi plugins within SONAR: see this topic. Even if you're using a different DAW, you may find some info in this document enlightening.
Hope this helps,
Mark.
Hi,
Hi,
Thanks.
I managed to figure it out.
So, I select the B-control mode, and than I can edit the faders to midi CC. [emoticon:smiley]
