Thanks Mark

Hi Mark,

Just a small "thank you" for the GS-10 editor. It is an amazing tool.

Does this work with OSX 10.7.5?

At the moment GS-10 Manager only has a Windows version. It may be possible to run this under OS X from a "virtual machine" (via VirtualBox, Parallels etc.), but I have no personal experience with this.

For the last two years I've been working on a native OS X version, but it will be at least six months before this will be released.

Hello,

I realize this is a pretty old post, but are there any chances to have a OSX 10.11.xx editor for the awesome GS-10?

Thanks a lot anyway.

As you can see on the Plans page, the status of GS-10 Manager is currently "Developing" for the Windows and OS X editions.
What this actually means is this:

First I'll have to fix a few window-related issues that are even blocking the planned upgrade for Windows, This will probably take 'only' a day or two, but I've got many other things on my plate...

Once these issues are resolved, I can continue porting the application to OS X. The main job is to painstakingly convert each window and dialog box - and GS-10 Manager has lots of them. I'm about half-way, but completing this may take something like 5 to 10 days.

In terms of motivation it doesn't help that (at least in my understanding) the GS-10 cannot be connected to Windows 8 or later via USB because BOSS (read: Roland) are 'too poor' to pay for a signed driver.
And the OS X user base probably isn't huge.

So I can't promise anything, but an OS X edition is still on the map.
In fact this plea from you may have put it slightly higher on my list than it was before, but don't hold your breath.
